Canadians have developed a reputation for being among the nicest people in the world.
But that doesn't mean they won't fire back if you decide to send a little trash talk their way.
One fan learned this lesson the hard way during Monday night's game between the Cincinnati Reds and the visiting Cleveland Indians. During the game, a fan in the front row decided it'd be a good idea to heckle Reds first baseman and four-time All-Star Joey Votto.
"I remember when you used to be good," the fan said.
Well, allow the 33-year-old Toronto native to retort.
"I remember when you used to be thin," Votto fired back.

Along with winning that exchange, Votto's Reds went on to win the game by a score of 5-1. Not a bad all-around evening for the Reds slugger, eh?
