In a tradition that has carried over to this season, Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks, along with cornerback Patrick Peterson, compete in a weekly throwing contest during practice known as the bucket challenge.
The loser of the challenge was made to wear a ridiculous outfit before the team's next game, such as when Peterson wore an elf outfit to last season's road game against the Eagles.
Here's a look at Peterson being very, very happy that he didn't lose this week's competition.
As you can tell from the GIF, @RealPeterson21 didn't lose the Bucket Challenge this week.

On Sunday morning, we learned the reason behind Peterson's elation: He didn't have to wear this monstrosity.
The guy wearing the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man suit (from "Ghostbusters" fame) during pregame warmups Sunday also happens to be Sunday's starting quarterback, Carson Palmer.
Don't blame us, Carson: We didn't choose anything.
Well, we know who lost the @AZCardinals Friday QB competition (i.e. Carson Palmer) #TBvsAZ pic.twitter.com/HBO4Xvpw4I
