In case you thought college sports haven't already jumped the shark... well, here you go.
On Sunday, 11-year-old quarterback Titan Lacaden announced via Twitter that he's received an offer to play college football at the University of Hawaii.
To be clear: Lacaden, a Hawaii native, is in the fifth grade. Lacaden's brother Jake is a linebacker at the University of Nevada.

"They said they want to offer a scholarship and asked me how I felt about it," Titan's father Frank, a youth and high-school football coach, told ESPN. "I know what my older son went through in the recruiting process and it's difficult, especially with us being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. So when opportunity knocks, you answer the door."
