More than 3,000 UFO sightings have been reported in Arizona dating back to 1950.

PHOENIX — Have you ever looked into the sky and seen something you just couldn't explain? Well, you're not alone.

According to the National UFO reporting center, Arizona ranks No. 7 for states with the most UFO sightings, with more than 3,000 sightings reported since 1950.

The United States Air Force even compiled a list of 12,618 UFO sightings between 1947-1969, calling it "Project Blue Book."
