A man is dead after a gunfight occurred in the parking lot of a CVS in Phoenix on Thursday night.
According to police, three men were involved in a gunfight in the parking lot of the CVS at the northeast corner of 44th Street and McDowell Road at 7:20 p.m.
After gunfire was exchanged, one of the men, 31-year-old Ryan Moss, ran across the street to a gas station. Moss was then taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The two other men fled the scene in a vehicle. One of them is hospitalized with critical injuries but is expected to survive.
The other was taken into custody but later released pending continued investigation.
