FBI searching for ‘Chedda Bandit' wanted in four Valley bank robberies

A man who is coined the “Chedda Bandit” is wanted by the FBI and believed to be responsible for four bank robberies across the Valley in the last few weeks. 

In all four robberies, the suspect presented a demand note to the teller and never showed a weapon. However, authorities say he should still be considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, between 5’10” and 6’ and 160 to 170 pounds. Witnesses also described the suspect as having a nervous twitch in his hand during at least one of the robberies.

Midfirst Bank is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for these robberies.

Chedda is a slang term used to refer to money.
