A Tempe man has been arrested after threatening to drive through his ex-girlfriend's place of employment.

Tempe police report that on April 12, they arrested 40-year-old Michael Duncan near Broadway Road and Hardy Drive.

On March 30, Duncan allegedly sent several threatening text messages to his ex-girlfriend and her employer, violating an active order of protection.

In one text, Duncan said he was "about to drive my truck through the (business)."

Police said Duncan was released from Tempe City Jail on March 3 after his arrest for "nine domestic violence offenses, including seven violations of the order of protection."

Related to this arrest, Duncan was given a $3,600 cash bond, must wear an ankle monitoring device and is restricted to his home, except for times authorized by his pre-trial officer.
