Authorities say a Scottsdale man was arrested in Peoria after he was found in a car with two young boys, drugs and cash.

Peoria police report that about 1 a.m. on June 9 they saw a car in the parking lot of closed businesses near 91st and Northern avenues.

According to police, the car was on and a boy sitting in the driver's seat appeared to be underage.

In the car, police reportedly found another boy, marijuana, scales, cash, packages and other drug paraphernalia.

The adult in the car, 20-year-old Kai Amaru Hawk, was asked by police what this situation would look like to a bystander and he allegedly replied, "[It] looks like a drug deal."

Hawk denied giving drugs to the boys, who were both under 15 years old, or employing them to sell drugs.

One boy told a different story saying Hawk sold him marijuana and he owed Hawk $140, court documents said. He was given more marijuana to sell, but instead, they all smoked it.

Hawk, who is connected to other felonies, is being held without bond for using minors in drug offenses.
