A man is accused of stealing credit cards from multiple people including a woman at a Scottsdale nightclub.

On June 4, Scottsdale police were called to Riot House in Old Town Scottsdale after 28-year-old Mohamed Abdiqadir Abdi was allegedly seen stealing credit cards from a woman's purse.

The woman told security guards at the club and they flagged down two off-duty MCSO deputies who then contacted police.

Scottsdale police reportedly found credit cards belonging to the woman in his wallet.

Police say inside the suspect’s car they saw, "multiple credit and debit cards belonging to multiple people."

Abdi is a Somalian citizen here as a student and has been charged with five counts of theft.

Police are in the process of notifying other potential victims.
