A woman passed out at the wheel was seen coasting through a north Phoenix intersection.

Phoenix police report that on April 2 around 2 a.m., an officer was at the intersection of 19th and Northern avenues when a vehicle coasted through the intersection and over the median before stopping on the sidewalk.

The officer approached the car and found both the driver, 37-year-old Jelene Buckinghorse, and the passenger passed out.

After getting the car turned off, Buckinghorse got out of the vehicle but reportedly had trouble standing.

Police say she admitted that "she had been drinking a lot."

Police allegedly found 13 bottles of beer, vodka, whiskey and other forms of alcohol in her car, including two empty bottles of beer and an empty bottle of 99-proof peach alcohol.

Buckinghorse, whose driving license was already revoked, has been charged with aggravated DUI.
