Every Diamondbacks fan remembers Randy Johnson's infamous run-in with a bird during a spring training game:
Well, history (sort of) repeated itself Tuesday at Chase Field, when Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt had a close encounter with a bird who secured some prime infield seating for the D-backs' game vs. the Padres.
The incident occurred as Goldschmidt fielded the ball on a Padres bunt attempt. This time, however, the bird seemed to escape with its life.

Perhaps this is good karma for the D-backs. After all, Randy Johnson's bird moment came in 2001, the year the D-backs went on to win the World Series.
