The FBI Phoenix Office along with the FBI Los Angeles Dive Team will be searching a pond in McNary, Arizona on Tuesday.
The FBI told ABC15 the search is in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Katherine Irene Tortice.
Tortice’s body was found in a grave near a pond in McNary on December 12, 2006. She was missing for about a month before her body was found.
The FBI has gathered information that evidence from the crime could be found in the pond.
