A mother duck and her ducklings were moved to a better habitat by police Thursday afternoon.
Surprise police said animal control officers responded around 2 p.m. for a noise complaint in a residential area.
Police found the duck and ducklings and were able to safely capture them, according to a news release. They were then released without harm at a city lake.
