Peoria Police have released more detailed descriptions of three people believed to have been involved in a weekend shooting.

Police say the victim was in the parking lot of the Peoria City Hall complex early Saturday morning playing Pokemon Go when she was shot.

The woman told detectives she was approached by a man who approached her car and asked for directions. The suspect then removed a pistol from his waistband and ordered her out of the car, police said. As she tried to drive away, she was shot in the face.

The woman was able to call 911 and reported three men were involved in the attack.

"Oh, hurry, hurry, hurry!" the 63-year-old victim said to the dispatcher.

The dispatcher, Nancy Miller, said it caught her off guard to have a gunshot victim be on the other end of a 911 call.

"I was stunned when she said that she had been shot, especially in the head," Miller said.

Miller typed notes from the call with the victim, while another dispatcher used those notes to send police and call for paramedics.

The victim's voice trailed as the 911 call went on.

"You could tell she was really starting to fade away," Miller said.

The victim, who is now talking, is expected to recover, police said.

The suspected shooter is described as a Hispanic man about 17 or 18 years old, 5 feet 7 inches or shorter, and weighing 140 pounds. He has a thin build, and was wearing a plain white t-shirt, baggy blue jeans, and black shoes.

Another suspect was described as a Hispanic man around 18 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has an athletic build, and was wearing a green Army-type jacket and dark-colored jeans at the time of the attack, police said.

The third suspect stood near the back of the vehicle during the shooting and is described as a Hispanic man around 18 years old. He was wearing white painter's pants and a white painter's hat during the crime, police said.

Police said surveillance video from city hall showed two other suspects were also present, but the victim was unable to provide descriptions.

Anyone with information about any of the five suspects is asked to call the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311.
