A pedestrian died Sunday night after running onto Interstate 10 and into the path of a semi-truck in Goodyear, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS said 29-year-old April Lanae Rhodes of Montezuma, Kansas was struck and killed at Dysart Road shortly after 6 p.m.
According to DPS, Rhodes was struck by a semi-truck and then run over by four other vehicles.
The interstate was closed for most of Sunday night but has since reopened, officials said.
It is unclear what prompted the woman to run into traffic.
