Emergency crews are on scene at a Queen Creek roof collapse that injured seven workers. Two of those people are in serious condition with life-threatening injuries, according to Rural Metro.

Rural Metro says the collapse happened at a church, which is currently under construction, near Sossoman Road and Hunt Highway.

The workers fell approximately 17 feet when part of the roof collapsed. Units from Gilbert and Queen Creek also responded to the scene.

Investigators from OSHA had been called and are on their way, according to a Rural/Metro spokesman.
