Authorities are looking for a man who stole medications from a pharmacy earlier this month.

Silent Witness said a man walked into the CVS near Dobson and Southern avenues around 3:30 p.m. on August 1.

He walked to the pharmacy and climbed over the counter while employees were dealing with other customers. Police say the suspect removed several prescription bottles from the shelf, climbed back over the counter and left through the back door.

The suspect is described as a black man, roughly 25-years-old and six feet tall. He has a thin build and shoulder-length dreadlocks, according to a description from Silent Witness Sgt. Jamie Rothschild. The suspect was wearing a black/multi-color print 'boonie-style' hat, red bandana, white baseball-style t-shirt and basketball shorts at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness as 480-WITNESS. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
