The Mesa Police Department says they’re investigating a woman found killed Friday night. The incident happened at the Ramblewood Condominiums near Center Street and Brown Road.
Police say an adult woman was found killed, but she has not been identified. Police say the incident is being investigated as a homicide and is domestic violence related.
At the time of the discovery of the woman, three children below the age of 12 were located inside the house. They were not injured and were taken into the custody of the Arizona Department of Child Safety.
Police say a suspect was located in Phoenix while investigators were actively working the investigation in Mesa. The man was detained on unrelated charges; police do not believe other suspects are outstanding at this time.
