Some Valley high school students are upset after a prank at Highland High School.

Videos posted online shows students starting a water balloon fight in the middle of campus as part of a senior prank.

The school's principal walked out into the middle of the fight to stop the prank. He then closed off parts of the school.

The Gilbert Public Schools District told ABC15 the prank lasted about 10 to 15 second and then Hawk Hall was shut down.

"They got caution tape and restricted the stairs and locked down the restrooms and stuff," Joseph Freiberger said. "It was just weird."

After the hall's closure, students posted videos online showing kids standing in long lines trying to get into classrooms.

It's unclear if the students involved in the prank will be facing any disciplinary actions.
