A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Gilbert Tuesday afternoon.
Gilbert Police say emergency crews responded to the area of Val Vista Drive and Los Alamos around 2 p.m. after hearing that a motorcyclist was down.
Investigators learned that the motorcyclist, identified as 37-year-old Christopher Harris, was hit by a truck. He suffered serious injuries and passed away.
Police say the driver of the truck was a 19-year-old man. There's no word on whether speed or impairment were factors in the crash, but the driver is cooperating with investigators.
The cause of the crash and who was at fault are still to be determined.
