A 16-year-old boy remains hospitalized after being shot in south Phoenix on Saturday.
Around 3 p.m. Phoenix police were called to the area of 23rd and Southern avenues after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said what began as a private sale of property turned into an argument, then a robbery.
The victim suffered a serious gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital where he remains in treatment, police said.
It’s unknown if a suspect is in custody.
