Officials are investigating after a woman reportedly saw a suspect with a gun on Interstate 17 on Friday morning.
The reported incident happened just after 5:30 a.m. near I-17 and Thomas Road.
According to the Department of Public Safety Duty Office, they received a report of shots possibly being fired from one vehicle to another, but "nothing has been confirmed at this point."

ADOT cameras showed a DPS trooper investigating a maroon-colored vehicle stopped on the shoulder before escorting the four-door car off the freeway to a nearby DPS station near 23rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.
