David Ssylvester's mission isn't complicated, but his message is pretty clear.

He wants to collect 25,000 high fives or hugs, and any friends he makes a long the way.

In Scottsdale he hopes to make 200 more.

"It's just really warm and friendly and it just feels good."

The self-titled human high five machine has spread the love all over, from Kansas to Austin to Flagstaff.

His motivation? A friend he lost during the terrorist attacks on September 11th.

His other motivation? To help others heal no matter what their loss is.

"After that happened it wasn't just myself," he said. "I think the whole world wanted a hug and wanted to feel secure again, they wanted to feel not afraid."

No matter how tall, or how small the question will be the same: Free high five?
