A Chandler man was arrested for stalking and harassing a local fitness model and her family.

Phoenix Police report that on May 16, they arrested 29-year-old Isaac Josiah Straus at his Chandler home near Ocotillo and Cooper roads.

Court paperwork shows that Straus was served with an injunction against harassment in March of this year, after he moved to Arizona to meet the victim.

Straus reportedly went to the victim’s gym to meet her and was asked to leave by her and the gym owner.

Straus continued to pursue the woman, leaving gifts on her car. He was then asked by the victim’s manager to stop contacting her either in person or on social media, but Straus continued to contact the woman, through her dog's social media accounts.

After getting a court order against harassment, police say Straus went to her parents' home, at least four times, attempting to talk with her father about marriage.

He even allegedly left flowers for the victim’s mother on Mother’s Day.

Police say the victim had to undergo multiple life changes to protect herself from Straus.

Upon his arrest, Straus reportedly told police that he, "felt so strongly about the path he was put on by God, that he was willing to take the punishment."

He is now facing multiple charges including stalking and aggravated harassment.
