With the kids out of school, it can sometimes be a challenge to find activities to entertain them throughout the summer.
One option is to take them to the splash pads at Tempe Marketplace and Desert Ridge Marketplace for their free "summer splash" events.
Each week, there will be games, activities, music and meet-and-greets with some of their favorite characters, including Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Captain America and Wonder Woman, and Princess Leia and a Storm Trooper.

The events will take place at Desert Ridge Marketplace on Tuesday's from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and on Thursday's at Tempe Marketplace from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
