Original ChopShop plans to open four more locations around the Valley in 2017.

Hargett Hunter Capital Partners, which bought the Arizona restaurant from its founders last year, announced in a news release its plans to expand the restaurant to Queen Creek, Arcadia, Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale.

The concept currently has locations in downtown Chandler, Old Town Scottsdale, and in Tempe across from Arizona State University's campus.

With the expansions, Original ChopShop will have seven locations in Arizona.

Jason Morgan, CEO of Original ChopShop and managing partner at Hargett Hunter, said he has plans to take the concept nationally.

"We plan to quadruple locations in the next three years across the country, including Dallas," he said in a news release.

The Queen Creek restaurant -- the concept's fourth location -- will be at 21227 S. Ellsworth Loop Road near Rittenhouse Road.

The Arcadia eatery will be near 32nd Street and Campbell Avenue, according to the website. Specific locations for Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale were not available.
