PHOENIX — A 33-year-old man is dead after being struck by an impaired driver late Friday evening, Phoenix police say.

Andrew Worth, 33, was traveling west on Indian School Road near 53rd Avenue when he was struck by 57-year-old Priscilla Kgosimore-Kalauba, according to police.

Witnesses told police Kgosimore-Kalauba made a left turn in front of Worth when she struck him.

The collision caused Worth to be thrown from his motorcycle into the road.

Fire officials arrived at the intersection and pronounced Worth dead at the scene.

Police say Kgosimore-Kalauba displayed signs of impairment, and after an investigation, officials determined she was under the influence.

Phoenix police say Kgosimore-Kalauba has been booked for manslaughter.

No other information is available from police at this time.
