Suns guard Eric Bledsoe reportedly wants ex-teammates DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall to come to Phoenix

The Phoenix Suns already have four former Kentucky Wildcats on their roster.

One of those ex-Wildcats reportedly believes there's room for more.

Suns guard Eric Bledsoe has apparently been trying to convince Washington Wizards guard and three-time All-Star John Wall, along with Sacramento Kings center and two-time All-Star DeMarcus Cousins, to join him in the Valley. All three men played together at Kentucky and were selected in the 2010 NBA Draft.

That report comes from Cousins himself. According to Locked on Wizards, a daily Washington Wizards podcast: Cousins, a member of USA's 2016 gold medal Olympic team, said all three men have been lobbying each other to join them at their respective teams.

"Do we ever talk about playing with one another? Is that your question? It's come up," Cousins told a reporter Monday in Washington, D.C.

"(John Wall) wants me here. Eric wants me in Phoenix," Cousins said before adding "hopefully one day (they'll) be in a Sacramento uniform."

Obviously, nothing is imminent here, and Cousins' remarks could be driven more by nostalgia than anything else. Consider that Cousins' contract with the Kings doesn't expire until after the 2017-18 season, while Wall and Bledsoe are signed with the Wizards and Suns, respectively, through 2018-19.

Nonetheless: Considering how much young talent the Suns have on their roster -- including another talented former Wildcat in shooting guard Devin Booker -- it's exciting to think about what the additions of Wall and Cousins could one day do for the franchise.
