This is only intra-divisional game in the playoffs and it pits two teams that have beaten each other on the road this season. The Colts come into the game with four straight wins, including a 24-21 win over the Texans. Houston comes into the game having lost two of its last four games, with wins coming over the four-win Jets and five-win Jaguars.
The Texans are 1 1/2-point favorites, but I like the road team this weekend. The Colts protect quarterback Andrew Luck much better than the Texans protect DeShaun Watson. Colts 28, Texans 24

The weekend is full of intriguing Wild Card matchups, but few teams come into the playoffs hotter than these two. For the Colts, Andrew Luck has had a career resurgence after missing 2017, and the Colts have found a run game in the form of second-year pro Marlon Mack.
But I like the Texans in this game for three reasons: 1. They're at home, 2. They have a superior rushing defense, 3. They have the best turnover margin in the AFC and the second-best in the entire NFL. Look for the Texans to enjoy a more balanced pass-run attack and set up a showdown with the New England Patriots next weekend. Texans 23, Colts 21
