Opening Day for the Art of the Story Exhibition: This spring experience the art of storytelling at the i.d.e.a. Museum. This exhibition - Art of the Story - will feature stories told through various mediums, which includes visual arts, spoken word, poems, film, animation, pop-up books, novels, short stories, dance, music, and other forms of creative narrative expression. Take a journey featuring art and hands-on activities that nurture creative thinking and embrace the storyteller within us all. Family Fun Valentine's Festival: Enjoy live entertainment with games, contests, dancing and more - all centered around Valentine's Day! Bounce in bounce houses and slides, get free face painting, craft your own Valentine's Day cards with the kiddos and win prizes in the Family Fun AZ Drawings. Everyone can shop for their sweetheart with various local vendors and eat yummy food from a variety of restaurants on property. Free. 10am-2pm. OdySea in the Desert, 9500 E. Scottsdale Parada del Sol Parade & Festival: The 67th Annual Scottsdale Parada del Sol Parade and Trail's End Festival consists of two FREE events lasting the entire day. Horses, food, bands, floats, and great entertainment on 3 stages on the streets downtown Old Town Scottsdale is blocked off and transformed into a Western themed playground for families. Free.
