Saturday, February 1
Lunar New Year Festival at Desert Ridge: Also referred to as Chinese New Year, each year is associated with a Zodiac animal, and this year we will enter The Year of The Rat. Families will enjoy incredible celebrations filled with cultural performances, festival activities, games and more! Free.11am-1pm. District Stage at Desert Ridge Marketplace, 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix.

Saturday, February 1
Mess Makers: Join Children's Museum of Phoenix for a painting party! You may wish to bring a change of clothes for your little one, since we do get involved in hands-on messy play in this program! Children 12 to 24 months-old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome. Admission into the program for each child is $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Museum admission is required and not included. Toddlers will get messy from 9:30-10:15am, Mixed ages at 11-11:45am. Children's Museum of Phoenix, 215 N. 7th St., Phoenix.

Sunday, February 2
Nature Play: Release your imagination in the Nature Play Space at South Mountain Environmental Education Center. Items that are designed to stimulate movement, creativity and self-directed learning will be available amidst our picnic area. All ages.
