Avondale Fiesta: As a part of the festivities, the event will feature dancing by Ballet Folklorico Esperanza at 6 p.m. and mariachi music from Mariachi Juvenil de Mi Tierra at 7:15pm. Headline act of the evening features cumbia fusion music by Chica Dust beginning at 8:30pm. Dine on Mexican food provided by local vendors, or sit and relax at the Beer Garden. Limited spaces available to participate, pre-registration and further details will be available from the events webpage very soon. May the 4th be with "Choo": The Force will be strong as we celebrate all things Star Wars. Our train-themed twist on the popular Star Wars Day event will feature concessions, photo opportunities with Star Wars characters and lots of intergalactic activities.
