A number of polls are being conducted to see how Arizona will swing in the upcoming election.
Many are predicting it’s going to come right down to the wire as more and more experts try to predict the results.
"As the numbers seem to get closer, then more individuals are doing polls,” said ASU Professor Thom Reily.
According to the latest poll by Monmouth University, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in a statistical tie in Arizona. Arizona State University Professor Thom Reily says the ebb and flow between the two candidates is usually because of debate performances or news coverage. Some of the voters we spoke to today wanted to know why so many polls come out so close to election day.
"A lot of the times it's for the political junkies that just want to get a pulse of what's happening. So that's why we're seeing particularly this week, so many are coming out nationally and so many are coming out state by state,” said Reily.
Reily adds that voters should try to study more than one poll. He also says that if you want to brush up on your polling knowledge, make sure you examine what questions and methodology the pollsters used to see if you think they’re biased.
