WalletHub came out with its best credit cards for the holiday shopping season, so you can get the most on your lists without going into debt.
The Citi Double Cash Card is a good choice if you're looking for the gifts to keep giving. The card gives you one percent cash back on all purchases and another one percent cash back when you pay your bill. Plus there's no annual fee… making it the highest base earning rate among cash back cards.
Expecting to have debt because you can't pay off your card immediately? Try the Chase Slate card to lower the cost of your post-holiday debt. There's no annual fee and there's a zero percent intro apr on balance transfers for 15 months.
Looking for bonuses? Try the Kohl's credit card. If you're a new applicant, you'll get a 30-percent discount on your first purchase after you're approved and there's no cap on how much you can save. You'll also get a separate 15-percent discount coupon when your card arrives.
But remember no matter what credit card you choose, be smart. If you don't have the cash, you may want to hold off on what you're buying unless you will be paying the balance off each month. To compare several cards, see the list here .
