Save money with this week's Valley grocery store deals

Get your first glimpse of some of the Valley grocery deals this week.


Head to Albertsons this week and save on some red seedless grapes for just $.75 per pound. You can save on cereal and also get a gallon of milk for free. Albertsons has select varieties of Kellogg's cereal on sale for $1.99 each. If you buy three participating cereals, you will get a gallon of milk for free.


Fry's will also save you on cereal. They have select varieties of Post cereal on sale for $1.88 each. Save on Yoplait yogurt at Fry's. You can buy 20 for $10, which mean they're $.50 each.


Bashas' has a smashing deal on 16-ounce containers of fresh strawberries for just $.99 with a limit of four. Head to Bashas' during their three day sale which starts on Friday, Sept. 27, through Sunday and score some savings. You can buy Breyer's ice cream for just $1.99 each during that sale with a limit of two.

Pro's Ranch Market

Score some savings on red apples at Pro's Ranch Market. You can purchase three pounds for $.99. Plus Pro's Ranch Market has a two day special sale starting on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and going through Thursday. During that sale you buy 73 percent ground beef for $1.48 per pound or try some bananas at three pounds for $.99. Also, a 10 pound bag of potatoes will be $1.69 each during the two day sale.


At Safeway you can purchase select varieties of General Mills cereal for $1.79 each. You can either clip the coupon in this week's ad or download it onto your Safeway card from their website. You can purchase four boxes for that price.

Food City

Have a burrito with beans for a good price. Food City has bulk pinto beans on sale for $1 and you can buy up to six pounds at that price. If you need to quench your thirst, Food City has you covered. They have 32-ounce bottles of Powerade for $.59 each.


Sprouts has red, green or black seedless grapes for $.88 per pound. Or try some natural whole chickens, drumsticks or whole legs for $.99 per pound at Sprouts this week. Don't forget Sprouts' ads overlap on Wednesdays so you score last week and current week deals on that day.
