Don't go broke buying food this week. Get your first glimpse of what will be on sale this week at Valley grocery stores.


Save on boneless skinless chicken breasts and thighs at Albertsons this week. They have chicken on sale for $1.77 per pound and without any limits. Get some savings on produce at Albertsons. They have a 6-ounce container of blackberries for $1 each, plus Fresh Express spinach or romaine salads for $1. You can also save some cash on select varieties of Post cereal for $1.98 per box. In order to get that price, you have to clip the coupon in the Albertsons ad and you can purchase up to four at that price.


Bashas' has select varieties of General Mills cereals on sale this week. If you purchase four boxes in one transaction you can pay $1.49 for each box. At Bashas' you can buy green seedless grapes for $.97 per pound with a limit of four pounds. Bashas' has some coupons in their ad for Breyer's ice cream. A 1.5 quart will cost you $2.88 use the $1 off coupon and you get that ice cream for $1.88.


At Fry's, you will pay $.99 per pound for green seedless grapes and with no limit. Fry's will be your place for milk this week. They have a gallon of milk for $1.79 and you can purchase two at that price. Stock up on Powerade 32-ounce bottles, because you can buy them for $.69 each and with no limits at Fry's.


At Sprouts the best day to shop there is Wednesday, because the previous week and current week ads overlap. Plus this week you can save on natural boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.99 per pound.

Food City

Save big time on chicken at Food City. They have leg quarters chicken on sale for $.58 per pound. They are sold in a 10-pound bag. You can buy two bags at that awesome price. You can also save on avocados while you are at Food City. You can buy five small avocados for $.99, and get up to 10 for that price.


At Safeway you can purchase pork shoulder country style ribs for $1.49 per pound.
