Teen pleads guilty to Peoria smoke shop killings

PEORIA, AZ - A teenager has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in the killings of two people at a Peoria smoke shop in 2012.

A Maricopa County Superior court spokesman says 17-year-old Tyson Langley also pleaded guilty to armed robbery and attempted first-degree murder.

The charges stem from the shooting deaths of 60-year-old Kenneth Matlock and 38-year-old Melinda Brown and the wounding of another person.

Judge Bruce Cohen will sentence Langley on Feb. 28. He was charged as an adult. Langley was 15 years old at the time of the killings.
