Valley crook keeps the change

Police are asking for the public's help finding a man who is walking into Valley convenience stores and stealing coin dispensers from their check out counters.

Peoria police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said investigators believe the suspect is responsible for at least 11 coin dispenser thefts in both Phoenix and Peoria.

Jacinto said the suspect often visits multiple locations on the same day.

On December 21st, he was linked to thefts at 75th Avenue and Peoria, 83rd Avenue and Union Hills, and 107th Avenue and Union Hills.

Investigators said the man enters the store and eventually grabs the dispenser and runs out of the store.
