GLENDALE, AZ — Authorities say a suspect arrested for throwing eggs at hospitals and cars in the West Valley is also responsible for similar incidents in and around the Glendale airport before escalating to acts which caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage.

According to court paperwork, investigators say Timothy Guan started throwing eggs and breaking windows at the Glendale Municipal Airport near Glendale Avenue and the Loop 101, along with surrounding businesses, beginning in early November 2018.

Then, around around 2 a.m. on January 4th, police say Guan used a hammer to smash several windows before dragging a hose into the terminal and flooding the first floor.

The total damage is estimated at $70,000, and police say the the terminal and all operations inside, including a flight school, had to be shut down for a full day to dry out the interior. Police say more than 20 fans were still working to clear the moisture 48 hours after the flooding.

Police identified Guan as the same suspect who egged two dozen vehicles and two hospitals in the Goodyear area because he was arrested in the same vehicle for both incidents. When Glendale police arrested him on January 6th, officers found "at least 10 cases of eggs containing 60 eggs each," according to a probable cause statement.

Since Guan was arrested while on release in connection with the Goodyear allegations, he is being held without bond.
