Severe storms created power outages, flooded streets and even fires in the west Valley Wednesday night.

Many Buckeye residents were left without electricity after the intense winds brought down a tree near Monroe Avenue and 4th Street.

Also in Buckeye, several streets were shut down after downpours created flooding in the area of Lower Buckeye Road and Watson Road.

In north Phoenix, neighbors told ABC15 that lightning sparked a tree fire near 40th Street and Shea Boulevard.

And sheets of rain blew across Interstate 10 near Loop 303 interchange, making it difficult to see and drive.

Avondale residents also saw lots of rain and flooded streets.

No injuries were reported in any of Wednesday night’s storm incidents.
