Two dozen teens are taking action at a West Valley school to help fellow students with mental health issues and bullying.

Westview High School students created the Ambassador Club this year after attending a youth conference called "Speak Up, Stand Up, Save a Life."

The student's goal is to stop bullying, prevent teen suicide, and intervene before someone resorts to school violence.

Their main message to other students is to seek help and tell trusted adults if you have a classmate who is depressed or troubled.

"Your friends care, your family cares more than you think," ambassador Grace Martinez said. "People do you see what's happening; people care about you more than you think."
