'A' on Tempe mountain back to gold after UofA strikes with red paint

TEMPE, AZ - It looks like University of Arizona fans struck first.

The "A" on "A" Mountain in Tempe -- the home of Arizona State University -- last night was painted red, one of the Wildcats' colors.

Arizona and Arizona State face off next week in their annual rivalry football game, and painting the "A" in Tempe and the one in Tucson are traditional as well.

Thursday afternoon Air15 video showed the "A" had been repainted to its original gold color.
