Next stop: Canada!
Swoop, a low-cost airline out of Canada, will be offering flights from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in just a few months.
The airline says service from Mesa to Edmonton will be starting on October 27th, flying on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
As of Thursday, flight bookings are already available for trips through April 2019. Tickets can be purchased at FlySwoop.com.
“We are excited to welcome Swoop to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport,” said Mayor Jeff Serdy, Chairman of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority, in a press release. “The Greater Phoenix area has become one of the top destinations for Canadian air travelers looking to escape the cold winter weather. The addition of Swoop in Mesa increases the opportunity for even more sun-seeking visitors to come and experience the many top-quality restaurants, golf courses, and entertainment venues the Valley of the Sun has to offer.”
