Mesa PD: 84-year-old Duane Larue missing since Monday

MESA, AZ - Police are searching for an 84-year-old man who was last seen Monday in Mesa.

Duane Larue, of Canada, got into an argument with his spouse and said he was going back "home," according to Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry.

He walked away from his residence with his cane around 1 p.m. near Greenfield Road and Southern Avenue, Berry said.

Larue's last known location was a Bank of America at Broadway and Greenfield roads around 2:20 p.m. Monday.

Berry said he hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Larue is described as a white male, 6-feet-1-inch tall and weighs 150 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

He walks with a cane and is hearing and vision impaired, according to Berry.

Larue was last seen wearing a pale yellow button down shirt with a tan windbreaker, black baseball cap with unknown lettering, brown slacks and black shoes.
