PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a man was shot during an apparent home invasion in Phoenix on Thursday evening.
Officers say they responded to a home near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road at around 6:30 p.m. A 60-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Another man, 49, was also inside the home but was not harmed.
The men reportedly told investigators that two unknown armed suspects entered the home and made demands when the shooting occurred.
The suspects fled the scene and have not been located.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call police or to remain anonymous, call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
