A west Phoenix mom is giving her 2-year-old son a living lesson about charity.

Xochmar Quintana is having her child create "blessing bags" for homeless men and women in Phoenix this holiday season. The bags include multiple items like warm blankets, toiletries and food.

She calls the effort "Liam's Christmas Project."

Xochmar first asked friends and family for donations and hoped to make 20 bags. After she posted their story on GoFundMe, more donations poured in from strangers and local businesses.
