PHOENIX — A water main break in north Phoenix is expected to snarl traffic for several days.
Crews were called to the scene of the water main break near 7th Avenue and Deer Valley Road early Friday morning.
Video from the scene showed water covering a large portion of the roadway, completely blocking traffic.
Police said the area is expected to remain closed for several days.
The area affected is North 7th Avenue, closed for north and southbound traffic from West Deer Valley Road to West Melinda Lane.
There is no word on what caused the water main to break.
