North Valley man Bill Little recovering after violent home invasion

PHOENIX - A North Valley man is resting and recovering after being bound and beaten during a violent home invasion.

It happened Monday around noon near 19th Avenue and Jomax.

Deputies said two men found the homeowner, 62-year-old Bill Little in the garage, wrapped him in duct tape and beat him with a pipe. "He may lose an eye," said his neighbor Hayden Hamilton.

The suspects ransacked Little's house for over an hour.

During that time, Little managed to escape twice. The first time the suspects caught him and beat him up again.

The second time, he climbed a six foot fence to get to a neighbor's house to call 911.

"When I saw him, I wanted to grab him and go to the basement and lock us inside," said neighbor Valerie Hamilton.

Deputies said the suspects got away with a white pickup truck, a trailer loaded with two Harley Davidson motorcycles, a safe, TV's and other electronics.

Police describe the suspects as two white men in their 30's and 40's.

Authorities said Little suffered multiple injuries to his face and possible broken ribs.
