Police identify investigative lead in Phoenix bus stop shooting

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are searching for a man who may have key information about a bus stop shooting that injured two people.

A 16-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were shot at a bus stop near 7th Street and Indian School Road Saturday, February 2.

Police said both men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.

Officers said witnesses described the shooting suspect as a Hispanic or black male.

On Monday, police released a picture of an investigative lead in the case.

He is described as a white male, 19-20 years old, with blue eyes, short blond hair and tattoos on his face near his eyes, neck and arms. 

The man was standing next to the suspect and left the area on a BMX bike.

Police say witnesses told them they saw the victims and the suspect get into an altercation before the shooting happened.
