According to a 2017 housing market forecast by Realtor.com, the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale area is expected to lead the country.
Phoenix home prices are forecast to grow by almost six percent, while sales are also expected to grow seven percent.
Tucson home prices are expected to grow just over six percent, while sales are likely to grow five-and-a-half percent.
Also in the top 10 metro areas around the country are Los Angeles, Boston, Sacramento, Portland and Orlando.
